Concentra Urgent Care

I had a great experience at Concentra. The staff were respectful, professional, and welcoming. The facility was clean, well-organized, and the process was quick and efficient. My DOT physical and urine test were handled smoothly with clear communication throughout. I really appreciated the hospitality and overall professionalism.

I got in on a walk in basis within 5-10 minutes. I got a tb test administered that I needed for a new job and was on my way out in less than 15 minutes. I went back a couple days later and was in and out quickly then as well. The staff was polite, thorough and patient with the fact I had to bring my three small kids along, they even offered them a juice before we left. All in all it was a quick and easy experience.

The male staff are decent, blonde haired lady at the front is rude. Came for a basic pre employment screening, got there at 8:30 and didn’t leave until almost 11. I was under the impression it would be quick but apparently they’ve only got one doctor who takes their sweet time without any care for people who have to pay their bills because I sat in the waiting room for an hour and then didn’t see the doctor until 10:30. All they could tell me was that they service appointments first. How am I supposed to make an appointment for that? I’m just supposed to sacrifice all my time to this doctors office, waste an entire day of work, and suffer through it because they can’t manage the workflow they get.

I left my physical feeling completely unheard and, frankly, dismissed. As someone who is highly health-conscious—I’m a regular gym-goer, eat well, and don't smoke or drink—I was shocked when a single BP reading was used to flag me for a follow-up. I explained that I suffer from 'white coat syndrome' and that my BP is consistently normal at other screenings (like the dentist). Despite this, they took only one reading—immediately following a stressful hernia exam—never showed me the numbers, and insisted I return in three months. Since then, I’ve tracked my levels at home with a high-quality monitor and confirmed they are perfectly within the normal range. It felt less like a health check and more like a ploy to bill for an unnecessary second visit.

The staff are top notch! I had trouble with my first couple of tests and every person I worked with were compassionate and understanding. I got a little sick while there and they were very kind about it. I cannot recommend them highly enough!
