I arrived at Contra around 45 minutes before they close for my pre-employment drug test. I was pleasantly checked in and did what was required of me. I however was not able to produce a large enough collection sample. I was given plenty of water and a cup of coffee was offered which I gladly accepted. All I wanted to do was provide a sample and leave so staff could get home. By this time, it was past 5:00. Walking was suggested which I did and not once did the staff make me feel bad or uncomfortable for keeping them there later than I'm sure they wanted to be. They were reassuring me that it was OK. If a bad situation was ever made better it was by the Concentra staff, and I greatly appreciate them!
I came here for a simple physical exam. The exam itself took less than 15 minutes, followed up by about 2-3 minutes of the doctor checking me over. I was here for over 2.5 hours. I waited over an hour and a half in the lobby, asking several times why it had been so long. After my roughly 15 minute physical evaluation, I was put into a room to wait on the doctor, where I was forced to wait over 30 more minutes. I had to open the door and ask what was going on for someone to finally send the doctor in (who only required 2-3 minutes of my time). On my way out, a nurse who I had not seen yet explained that they had “forgotten about me.” I explained that I had asked several times why I had to wait so long (because they had obviously forgotten about me), and it is still unclear to me how
Alot of the staff was very courteous and professional and fun. The DR. however wasted my time and process{which was rather quick in my opinion} to obtain a medical DOT card AFTER I went through every exam for a new job by not initiating a requested form from an Optomitrist beforehand resulting in my job dismissing my application because it was FMCSA neccessary. If I had been informed of the paper before completing all of the testing I would most likely still be engaged with the position to which I applied. It should've been explained as to not waste the company I applied or mine time or money BEFORE the exams. She also tried to force a sleep apnea test on me stating if I didn't take it she would only approve my DOT med card for 3 months. Apnea tests are not mandatory. She expressed as wel
I was sent to this location for a work related injury. I received bare minimum “treatment” and once the doctors found out it was workman’s comp related or that i have legal representation , they were extremely rude and very dismissive to my injuries and would often downplay my feelings. The hand doctor they assigned to me administered a cortisone injection and as it begin to work through my body i felt fatigued in the following hours that lasted until the next day. A month later during the follow up, he flat out told me that there was no way it caused fatigue even though several people say they felt it as a side effect as well. He very rudely told me they could not treat me and told me to wear the splint (after telling me on our last visit to “get rid of the splint”). He also stated that h
Overall, very good experience. The only problem I had was after I signed in and the sent me the forms to do electronically, 20 minutes later they gave me the manual forms. Was there before 8, wasn't done until after 9. Everyone was pleasant and professional, the doctor who I saw was great.
