Complete Family Dentistry

I came in because my permanent retainer had broken and I wanted it removed. When I called ahead, I was told the cost would be $30. Once I arrived, the dentist said he would just polish off the broken part and do it for free. But when I checked out, they tried to charge me $66 for a “two-tooth polish and exam.” After I questioned it, they changed it—yet they still wanted me to pay $50 for an exam, even though I was originally quoted $30 and then told by the dentist it would be free. The back-and-forth and shifting prices made the whole experience feel very uncomfortable. I paid it, but I won’t be returning because their pricing transparency is poor.
