Complete Care at Mercerville

My husband is there for physical therapy, and I have found that the people that Work there, the nurses and aid could not be nicer or more helpful than they are. My grandmother was a Resident at the nursing home 40 years ago, but it looks so different now they remodeled it and it’s beautiful inside and out. The food is good and the staff is very friendly. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a facility for a loved one.

When my mother was first moved to this facility on August 27, 2025, after a brief hospital stay for a mild UTI, I was happy to see how many activities they had for the residents. I did think the facility had a bad smell, but I figured that was to be expected. At each almost-daily visit, my mother was left to sit in her own urine and feces for most of the day. I would change her and give her showers on my own to avoid a sepsis infection. I knew that she was able to come home after one week because she had made significant progress physically and made sure to mention it to the staff. As the weeks went on, I kept reminding the staff that my mother was ready to come home and expected her to be released back into our care. I recently had the experience of placing my father in the Complete Care of Mercerville Long Term Care facility, specifically in the North Wing, and I cannot express how grateful I am for the exceptional care he has received under the leadership of Ms. Charlotte and her wonderful staff. From day one, the staff has gone above and beyond to ensure that my father is not only well taken care of but also actively engaged in activities. They make a concerted effort to encourage residents to get out of their rooms and participate, which has made a tremendous difference in his well-being. My experience with this rehabilitation facility has been very disappointing. While I had hoped for attentive and compassionate care, that unfortunately wasn’t the case. Communication with staff was poor — updates about my loved one’s condition were inconsistent, and it often felt like I had to chase information rather than being kept informed. The overall quality of care also raised concerns. Basic needs and comfort seemed to take too long to address, and there appeared to be a lack of coordination between the medical team and caregivers. It was heartbreaking to see how things were handled, especially considering that families trust this facility to look after their loved ones during a difficult time. Leslie has done above and beyond his duties from lending his ear to a family member to helping out while he’s already helping others out.
