Complete Care at Annapolis

Good food... not gourmet, but tasty and nourishing. Great staff-- happy, helpful (often slow, but eventually), basic fun activities, and PT AND OT AND SPEECH THERAPY are outstanding. Careful not to push you too much, but very encouraging. I recommend it highly. I know that not everyone would, but I am a patient patient.

My mother was in worse shape when she was discharged from this facility than when she was admitted to it after hospitalization. She was transferred in order to gain strength to go home. In 2 weeks, she had unreported and untreated injuries that were blamed on her. She was oversedated making it difficult to receive physical therapy, the reason she had been admitted. A couple of the therapists and staff tried hard to be patient-centered but many, especially the subs over the weekend, were belligerent or disrespectful. The biggest concern was lack of continuity of communication and care, particularly regarding medication - with needed medication missed, unreported medication given, and specific instructions either not conveyed or conveyed improperly across shifts. My Dad had spent a year at the facility when it was Cadia( about 3 years ago) What a difference when my Mom was there just recently (Sept 2025) for 9 days Not as clean(smelly walking down the halls) And the nursing staff not at all as friendly. One Saturday she needed to go the bathroom and pressed the button… over 45min and I had to clean her from a bowel movement. Heartbreaking the way the residents who live there are treated. My Mom was transported to the ER from there. Had a UTI, diverticulitis and lung infection. Needless to say when she was discharged we changed facilities. Not sure what happened with the name change, but definitely not for the better

Residential Neighbors are taking action! Employees CONTINUE to discard surgical masks, gloves and other trash curbside. - This occurs daily. Cigarette butts: Just this morning two employees were smoking outside of the facility then, one of them then walked her cigarette across the street, to discard the butt on the curb of a home! With this level of disrespect to the neighborhood you are in, what kind of disrespect are you extending to patients in your care? Do you encourage discarding of used masks by tossing them on the street? Could you maybe have a meeting and ask staff not to do this?

When I visited my family member yesterday here at complete care, I noticed the receptionist was comfortably asleep at the desk. I found that very unprofessional. I’m trying to figure out what kind of business you’re running. I was very dissatisfied.
