Community Pharmacy at Saint Joseph East

I came in to pick up a prescription for lupus for the first time and asked for information on the meds if there’s anything I should know and he said to read the paper inside, do they not have a knowledgeable pharmacist available? I just got a diagnosis and would have liked a little bit of information. Truly heartbreaking and makes me feel like an idiot for even asking. Truly unprofessional. I am nervous and scared and he had zero information to give me, maybe that’s not his job but why would the pin pad ask me if I need counseling on my medication if the pharmacy can’t provide it. I guess I’ll call his boss for some more information, or google it. Because that’s safe when it comes to autoimmune conditions. Am I allowed to go get a vaccine? WHO KNOWS!! Since my insurance is making me do mail order prescriptions I have been getting my blood pressure and blood thinner filled here. They are always nice and helpful when I talk to someone on the phone. Seems like they are gonna be a great pharmacy to deal with in the future.
