The OR staff and pre OR staff are so nice. They were concerned with my needs and keeping me confortable. The anesthesiologist was so kind and super understanding when I said things that I thought were very funny when I was waking up, but could have been taken as rude. Ha! My pain levels were controlled very well and I felt very at ease.

Our experience in the NICU was deeply distressing and left us feeling intimidated rather than supported as parents. Despite our baby being stable, we were repeatedly told she could not be discharged, yet clear medical justification was not consistently explained. When we asked questions, the reasons seemed to change, which made it difficult to understand what was truly necessary for her care. When we requested a second opinion, we were refused. We were also told that CPS could be contacted if we attempted to leave, which felt coercive and frightening rather than collaborative or family-centered. Physicians, nurses and other staff members provided excellent care. Personal care was focused on meeting patients individual goals, being attentive, and always listening to patients needs. My stay and experience was very positive. I am thankful to all staff- who took care of me.

The staff was great during my husbands surgery back in January. We have been making payments on that every month of what we can afford. Got a call today from the billing department and unless we pay almost $5500 in full or set up a payment plan of over $450/month it is going to go to collections. Told them we can't afford that and all we got was, oh check care payment to see if they can offer you something lower..... How about you accept what people can pay a month so that they can actually pay you back. We owe about the same amount to Shodair Children's Hospital and pay the same amount each month as we do to you. They have been nothing but accommodating and understanding and have never threatened us with collections and we have been paying the same amount for over 2 years! EDIT 2/5/26: T

Pediatric team was incredible and the nurses and doctors were exceptional! 10 stars! Billing is absolute chaos. Nobody knows what's going on and they have been horrible to deal with. Literally zero stars if I could.
