Community Medical Center - Emergency Department

Screw this place, make the drive to the other hospital in town if you actually want to be treated with human decency and not be charged by the collection company several times (after you have paid AND been told by the collection agency that the bill is paid). They then started charging me again for a higher amount and stated that the amount I previously paid was for different fees, but cannot provide documentation to show what these fees are. Keep in mind everything was settled and fine for several months until they randomly started calling me again stating that this higher balance is due about six months after I had gone into the hospital and four after I was told it was paid. They will treat you like just another number and truly do not give a shit about you after you have left the buil

I was in a car accident and needed a full physical to check any possible internal injuries i stated that to the person at deak. The nurse check in the doc. They asked where the most pain was I said knee and spine. They only did an x ray on my knee said it was fine and sent me on my way... when I was in a car accident of someone hitting me at over 50 miles an hour... thanks. Guess I'll just wait to see if anything is wrong since I can't get medical care here

Do not go see Dr Onaka. She definitely was the bottom of the class. She tried to force my bent knee into a straight brace causing me extreme pain after she KICKED ME IN THE HEAD telling me to get off the ground from a panick attack from the pain. She left polson hospital because the backlash from being a failed doctor. To the hospital that hired her good luck. And to patients just go somewhere else. And to onaka I will make sure every hospital knows what you did to me.

Was greeted at 8:30pm 12/16/25 by a woman who clearly doesn’t like her job. Demanded my ID back and went to Providence. I was born in this hospital and won’t ever return.

Terrible billing system, no one at the hospital or billing can even tell me what a bill is for. Also heard from an Admin that shady doctors tell them to code incorrectly in order to overcharge patients. Wonderful nurses but terrible business practices. Go to a different hospital if you have a choice.
