Community Health Pediatrics

I have always had great experiences with this practice. The staff were always friendly, there were never any discrepancies with billing, always easy to get in or receive a call back when there were concerns with my child and any urgent care or ER trips I always received several call backs to follow up. My child became high needs after several overnight hospital stays due to respiratory issues and they took it seriously and helped me through all of the difficulties during that time.

After seeing all the terrible reviews, I wanted to add our experience. Amy Pfenning is the best. 3 years ago, when we moved back to the area, a friend suggested we see her for an issue that was undiagnosed by over 10 pediatric surgeons in Maine for our child. She connected us with a fantastic surgeon in NH and we were able to finally get our child the care they needed. We have been seeing her for both of our children & would not want to have anyone else as our pediatrician. She listens, provides honest feedback, and is amazing with children. With limited options in Rutland, we are so lucky to have found her.

We have had great experiences with both of our kiddos, the doctors we have seen (which is almost all of them) have been very attentive and answered all of our questions and concerns. They take the time to sit with your child and ensure that they are comfortable before continuing the exam. I like the fact that they follow the child from birth too, it really helps contribute to a great trusting experience for both child and parents. We love Community Health Pediatrics! Thank you to the entire team, you are all great at what you do!

If your child goes to CHCRR dental I would highly suggest switching to literally anyone else. Every single one of my child’s appointments has been canceled and usually she has to wait another 6 months to be seen. This last time they didn’t even bother calling me they sent a letter that took over a month to get to me since we had moved. I always understand that things come up and people get sick but more than once they told me the doctor decided to take a vacation why are they taking vacations during already scheduled appointments. Worst doctors office I have ever encountered.

Amy & Emily have been the only good thing about our experience at community health No one in the office takes you seriously, they’ll ignore & completely disregard you even when your child’s extremely sick For the past 2 years we’ve been brushed off and have had to fight for every little thing when it comes to our kids’ care. We’re extremely dissappointed by our entire experience here. Good luck reaching out to patient relations, they just ignore you as well and hope that you go away.
