I was referred to Dr Willis and staff by my dentist. I am on Medicade insurance at the moment and had a lot of issues from years of neglect. My dentist is great but did not want to attempt 4 root canals. 3 of them right in a row. I should also mention that my previous dentist attempted two and left a mess- I came to Dr Willis “hat in hand” and between Melissa listening to me vent at the front desk to Dr Willis experience learned techniques that stop the anesthetic syringe from pinching I realized I was at a phenomenal dental practice…. These days I feel like most professionals do not offer that personal touch or offer it but do not have the skills. Between waiting 6 weeks for a call back to schedule a root canal procedure which was "completed" in 1 short hour, to the receptionists 4 year old playing so loud and obnoxiously right outside of my exam room (as if the dentist isn't stressful enough). I found out that 1 week later it was (and still is) in fact infected. My antibiotic prescription was filled 7 days late. I completed that antibiotic to still have an infection. Called to schedule an appointment to be told that the dentist will NOT fix the incorrect work that was done on the initial work and referring to it as a "retreatment". The work was just done 3 weeks prior!!! I then went in amd spoke to another dentist amd had x-rays done to determine status of my tooth. My husband went to another dentist and was referred to Dr. Willis, I must say the office staff and the doctor himself are amazing! It's just to bad the original dentist wanted to complete the work that's needs to be fix, however they still haven't fixed the problem. My husband will be going back to Dr Willis to have the issues fixed.

RUUUUN from these Keystone Kops!!!! Incredibly incompetent. Did not do what they were supposed to do (root canal). Lied about the process. Lied about the time frame. Lied about what procedure comes next. For my follow up apt they asked me to move up my apt by one hour. 35 minutes later I am still sitting in the lobby. Then when I said I had to pick up my kids and would have to reschedule I got a LOT of attitude. "Can't you get your wife to get the kids?" "Can't you get a sitter?" (NOW??????) Then finally, in a snotty tone, "Well we won't reschedule you until late December." (A month out). Some sort of we'll-show-YOU! She told me the procedure would take an hour and a half. Dr. Willis is the greatest - it took me a couple of years to find him, but it was worth the wait. His work is excellent, and his prices are very fair. I wouldn't go anywhere else now, even though it is a 45-minute drive from where I live.
