Commack Vision Center, formerly Nationwide Vision Center

My experience at Commack vision has been very great compared to my previous visits at other eye glass/ contact stores. Bryan helped me out big time during my first visit with an eye exam, new contacts, and new eye glasses. The optometrist was very nice and knowledgeable as well. I definitely recommend this spot to anyone looking for great service.

Horrible. 1st and last time !!!!! First we walked in and weren't even greeted with a "hello" we're sitting / standing like idiots !! just say hello or one moment please even if you're talking to someone. I was in the health care and that is unacceptable to ignore patients. then Brian said he can't read my glasses because they're progressives. My in-laws from florida are in optometry and they said they never heard of that. they even make a machine to tell you what the prescription is !! then i go back to doctor he doesn't even introduce himself as the doctor i had to ask him awkwardly then throughout entire exam he was sniffling and coughing non stop !!!!! finally we go to check out and Brian starts insulting my medical issue with a lazy eye i've had since childhood making me feel so unco

I have been going to Commack Vision Center (formerly Nationwide Vision Center) for over 5 years and am very happy with this provider. They have a nice selection of eyeglasses at different price levels. Brian, the owner, has always provided excellent service. I especially appreciated how he handled one purchase of glasses that my insurance company did not cover properly. Although I said I would cover that difference, he would not allow me to and absorbed the loss himself. Also, with one purchase (out of many pairs I have bought), there was something wrong with the lens and I could not see clearly for distance. He inspected the lens and saw a defect, sent it back to the vendor who produced the lens and returned a perfect pair of glasses to me. How an owner handles issues (even though

Absolutely one of the best optometry visits I have ever ever had. I say this with almost 30 years experience as an internist and many different optometry visits. I’ve never had an exam this thorough and had everything explained so well. Left with the best fitting pair of contacts I’ve ever had. Highly recommended.
