Columbia Urgent Care

I visited Columbia Urgent Care for severe GI symptoms that hadn’t improved with over the counter treatment. While the doctor was polite, the visit felt disorganized. Once in the treatment room, I was offered medicine that I had already mentioned I previously tried as well as more over the counter remedies such as aloe pills. Coming to an Urgent Care, I expected insight that I couldn’t look up on Google. I was then told she wasn't sure how to proceed with my care. The doctor stepped out to call her boss to get an answer. I don't have a problem with this. I believe if you don’t have the answer, you should absolutely rely on your resources to find the best outcome. My sister and I brought our mom to this urgent care, and we couldn’t be more thankful for the care she received. The staff were so kind, welcoming, and knowledgeable, and the owners were amazing! They went above and beyond to make sure my mom was comfortable and taken care of. My mom’s blood pressure was extremely high, and while most urgent cares would have sent us straight to the ER, this team took the time to help her, monitor her, and make sure she was stable. Because of their attention and kindness, she made a full recovery. Love the staff, love, love, love Agnus. She's very , attentive, listens to your concerns and medically walks with you through them... I like that. She is Very knowledgeable in her field and very thorough with your care. The front desk people are VERY sweet and friendly. I like the care there, because it's personal, intimate and tailored to your every need. They are prompt to schedule you for any other test you need somewhere else. I hope this place does not go out of business before I die. Most comfortable Dr. office, I have ever visited. Truly.

My daughter went for right lower abdominal pain. They ruled out appendix by testing for rebounding pain only, told her not to take any pain medication so not to mask any worsening symptoms and ordered an ultrasound through Advanced Radiology. This was October 9th. My daughter continued to be in pain, no medication, through the next week while she waited for the order to be sent to Advanced Radiology. When she called Advanced Radiology she was told that an incomplete order had been sent, it was missing her birthday, so they requested a new order. This went on and on despite calling them until ultimately she was in so much pain it was keeping her up at night. She called me at 1am and I had her go to the ER. It was the 20th or 21st I believe. Had a less than pleasant experience with Columbia Urgent Care. The front desk lady was very nice and attentive but that was the only nice thing about it. I’m not even sure who we saw in the actual exam because she never introduced herself but she questioned everything that was said and clearly felt like it was a joke. Their xray machine was defective and acted like they could say whether there was a fracture or not even though the machine caused a lot of lines to be through the xray. My boyfriend fell on ice and she didn’t even so much as help him get around the clinic or provide any kind of care. She gave him a shot for pain and told him not to put weight on it. Gave him nothing like a boot or crutches to get around. Told him to go to Walgreens to get something to help. So basically did n
