Columbia Medical Clinic PC-Stark Street

I went to this urgent care for a pretty bad cough that I had for over a week. I went to this one because it was so close to home. I made an appointment for 12:45 and was told to come in early for paperwork, so I came in at 12:30. The space is on the 3rd floor and it looked pretty nice, but seemed a bit slow. The front staff were fine, not exactly pleasant but also not rude, just meh. I didn’t really care too much since I could barely talk without coughing too much. I waited about 15-20 minutes before they called me into the room and asked me some basic questions and took my blood pressure. I waited another 15 minutes then Dr. Shae Montegna came in. She introduced herself briefly, asked me like 3 questions (do you have allergies, do you smoke, how long have you had it), then listened to my

My husband was in a hospital for weeks and the hospital did not detect a huge mass in my husband lung. The Dr's at Columbia healthcare were concerned about his health issues and ordered chest X-rays. Dr King and Dr Shae Montenga office called multiple times until they were able to a hold of my husband and I. They sent us immediately to Ohsu adventist where he is now getting the mass and partial lung removal. If this office hadn't gone out of the way to get Troy in and run the tests needed the DR here says Troy would have died. I can't express the amount of gratitude for these ladies in this office. They are simply amazing! I owe my husband of 24 years life to you all. Ty ty for caring about him.

Dr. King is amazing and I am in awe of her care for my husband who was diagnosed with congestive heart failure 2 years ago. The 2 stars is because the reception staff are rude, dismissive and uncouth. There have been multiple times my husband and I have called regarding meds he needs to literally live and we are met with rudeness being treated like we are drug seeking. In July there was miscommunication between this office and doctors regarding his labs and getting his next refill. That turned in to a 3 week wait which resulted in my husband being admitted into the hospital. When speaking with the receptionist I made her aware that we needed to work together to get his resolved as my husband had been without his meds for CONGESTIVE HEART FAILURE for WEEKS and his health was declining. She

There is a receptionist, not sure of her name but everytime I call in she meets with rudeness and Im over it. She needs to learn how to talk to people. Im not a junkie or a pill popper. The meds I take are time sensitive and are very vital to my daily life, Her customer service is mediocre at best.

Front desk and medical assistant were so nice and helpful. The dr on the other hand was not. She would barely answer my questions. I felt like it was a problem I was there. She was not gentle after I told her how much pain I was experiencing. Dismissive at best. I do not want to go there ever again.
