Be aware of this company. This company sends bill without contacting you and letting you know why the bill was send. They miss spelled the name, and when I asked them why they did not called us they're telling me they sent a text. We received 100s of spams and they expect us to recognize a lab that we never worked with. They call themself a family oriented business, this is a joke. The worst business.

If you find out your doctor is using this company, you have a bad doctor. If you ask about billing, they will try to be very vague. If you ask about additional costs after payment at the Dr. office, they will say there may be cost associated with testing, knowing full-well you will get a bigger bill than the Dr. apt. When you decide not to send samples and cancel your follow-up appointment, they will send it to Cockerell anyways. Finally, although Cockerell will send you a substantial bill, they do not make any attempt to directly confirm or get consent prior to testing. They do, however, make relentless and repeated efforts to collect money for services you did not agree to.

This lab's fees are ridiculously high. I advise against doctors using these labs with fees intended to gouge customers and I will be informing my doctor to switch labs. I would not have ordered a test from them had I known it would have been this high.

They repeatedly filed my lab assessments incorrectly with the wrong insurance leading to huge erroneous bills and negative effects on credit scores. They're unresponsive, don't care, and fail to correct the repeated mistakes they make with their accounting. Would highly recommend to clients, patients, and dermatologists alike not to use this service. Shameful

Billed incorrectly on a medical bill and didn't file with insurance. Egregious errors made with their financing and accounting departments. Caused a huge amount of headache potentially having a permanent effect on my credit score all because they made a mistake and to this date, and despite my repeated contact, they have failed to correct. Would warn anyone and everyone against using this lab and especially warn any reputable dermatologist from using this. You are doing a disservice to all your patients and clients and I'm extremely disappointed.
