Coastal Pharmacy & Compounding

I get medications compounded regularly from Coastal, for both myself and my cats, and it’s always a positive experience. Everyone I’ve ever spoken with is always friendly and helpful and I wouldn’t consider using any other compounding pharmacy. I highly recommend Coastal!

Coastal Pharmacy has what the 'big box' pharmacies don't: quick refills, really friendly and smart folks, and Buck (the owner) is a font of knowledge.No long lines! I get all of my inoculations at Coastal. I trust an independent pharmacy to take care of me and that's why they are so successful.

The people I dealt with at this pharmacy are scary incompetent, I asked them to transfer my prescriptions to a different pharmacy and they transferred a prescription I've never taken, if that would have been filled, if I was unable to talk, and had a caretaker, and they gave me that, I could have gotten seriously ill! Very, very scary! I recommend going to a different pharmacy, if you go to this one at least double triple check what you're taking Response to your reply: If there was any question you should have called me, I was very specific when I ordered the script, the lady obviously was not listening, BUT when there are 2 of the same type of drug you were wrong to assume, when my number is on file you should have called to confirm.

Ever since moving to Wilmington NC Coastal Pharmacy & Compounding has been my go to pharmacy. If you want that small hometown feel this is the place to go. Buck Martin, PharmD/Owner is very helpful when I have questions about my medications, his staff is highly knowledgeable and if they don’t have the answers they will find it and call me back. Works very well with my Doctor and staying on top of my refills. I love ❤️ they have a good drive-thru! I take quite a few medications where they set up pill packs for me each month so I don’t have miscellaneous bottles setting around. Go check them out and their prices are just as good as everyone else’s prices & at times cheaper!

Very respectful, accommodating, responsive and kind staff. Hours can be a little tricky, but worth it.
