Coastal Health Primary Care - San Pablo

I’ve been coming here for over 5 years and never had anything bad to say. The staff is friendly and the providers are helpful. The past few times I have had to wait longer times due to low staff when talking to an assistant I was told that they only have 5 medical assistants for 6 doctors. This is not ok and needs to be addressed to ensure good care. I would like to continue to see Ashlan and her friends Bailey so it would be nice if this issue could be handled

I have been a patient at Coast Medical for many years. Erin Hedrick front desk has always stepped up to give me prompt and professional attention for all my questions and scheduling needs. I have not been to any other medial office that shows this care and concern for their patients. Keep up the great work.

I am very comfortable with HEATHER SHE has helped me a lot she is very knowledgeable and kind. I feel like I can discuss any problem I have with her. I’m very comfortable with her. She is definitely an asset to Coastal Health and her patients.

This was my first visit and the entire staff made me feel very comfortable. Everyone was informative and I was relaxed the entire time. Dr. Phelps is awesome.

Since Coastal has taken over, there has been a noticeable shift in the facility. Dr Caballero and Tina Voisin ARNP, have both left. The interaction with the office manager totally lacked a patient care setting attitude and was more of someone better suited to risk management. I was informed Dr Caballero, DO, had retired and saw a different MD. It took 2 months, numerous calls and visits to get the refill done that should have e occurred during my appt. When I asked about Dr Caballero, I was informed by the staff he retired, which was absolute lie. They are better off saying he left the practice and policy does not allow them to comment. My Pain management informed me where Dr Caballero had moved to when we were discussing my referral renewal and I informed him what Coastal had informed
