Coastal Health - Primary Care

I've used the same Doctor for thirty years and moving to a new state meant searching for a Doctor that I felt comfortable with. Dr. Dunlap is comforting and kind. Listens well and very knowledgeable. 🙏Thankful to him for doing what google couldn't.😌

The medical providers here are incompetent. Dr. Dunlap was irritated with me during my initial appointment because I have so many health issues despite me apologizing repeatedly. He did not record any of my issues or meds during the appointment. They then switched me to Gretchen Baldwin who prescribed me medication that is contraindicated with multiple health conditions I have. They never pulled my medical records when I transferred to them and have never even had an accurate record of the medication that I am on, or the health conditions I have. I am disabled and on SSDI, and they cant even remember that. It's ridiculous. Don't go here if you have complex health issues, it's a safety hazard.

It seems I've had a few more doctor appointments lately. The Coastal Health-Primary Care Office Staff have gone out-of-their-way to accomodate my office visits and referrals as I ready for an upcoming surgery. Doctor Caleb has listened to my concerns and taken the time necessary, to assure my questions are answered and medical needs are resolved. I enjoy and trust this practice to take care of me.

I had the pleasure of speaking with Dierra at Coastal Health Primary Care, and she was an absolute delight! She was kind, patient, and went above and beyond to help me get the specific information I needed. I was driving at the time, and she didn’t hesitate to look things up for me on Google to make sure I had the correct details. Her professionalism and genuine care really stood out. She deserves 5 stars and more!

Appointees are seen within a reasonable time. Dr Dunlap and others in the Coastal family are conscientious and professional. Altogether a stress free experience on that level. Your diagnosis may color your thoughts but they are there to support you.
