Cleveland Clinic- Mentor Hospital

I cannot say enough good things about the emergency department here. I brought my son in to be seen, and the staff were all so patient , kind, and accommodating. John was fantastic and even brought my son a huge box of nice activities to do and take home while we were there . He checked on my son throughout our visit. Vicky took our X-rays and was so sweet and patient with my son ! Dr McWeeney was thorough, attentive , and kept us informed of every step. Thank you to the entire staff here who made such an impact and difference in what was a scary and not so fun day for my son. We truly appreciate you!

Amazing staff all around! We were easily guided through security and check in. They got us in immediately after explaining the issue. Everything looks spotless and cleaned thoroughly. Every single person was so kind and helpful- and that goes a long way when you're already feeling terrible. Everyone seemed to know exactly what they were doing without delay. Meds and tests were determined and given quickly. While waiting for results we were checked on often and when pressing the button for help they were quick to arrive and assist. Really made a bad start to the day less scary and stressful. Thank you everyone!!

My daughter went to the ER twice due to nausea and vomiting. Both times she was told she had a virus and sent home. The third time she was admitted and was told 99.9% chance she had a peptic ulcer. They did an endoscopy and found nothing. She was transferred to Hillcrest where the nightmare continues. They then diagnosed her as having a bad gallbladder and removed it and she is still very sick and still has nausea and vomiting. Stay as far away from this place as possible. She spend 5 unnecessary days at mentor hospital for no reason other than they wanted to run up the bill on her insurance. This place only cares about how much money they can take from you. They do not care about people and trying to make them better.

I WHEN WORKING RAN AND PRODUCED THE TV NEWS ... I AM RETIRED DUE TO HEALTH... I WAS FIRST IN THE ER THERE AND EVERY SINGLE PERSON WAS SPECTACULAR.... THE DOCTOR WHO TOOK CARE OF ME WAS THE DIRECTOR AND HE WAS FANTASTIC... PLEASE TELL HIM .. THE NURSES AND ALL IN THE ER WERE GREAT.. THENI GOT ADMITTED AND WAS IN ROOM 238... I WAS THERE A COUPLE OF DAYS AND THE DOCTORS, NURSES AND AIDS WERE NOTHING SHORT OF SPECTACULAR.... THE PHYS THERAPIST MIKE WAS GREAT... TOTAL STAFF FANTASTIC.... PLEASE TELL EVERYONE.... AND MGT PLEASE FIND OUT WHO TOOK CARE OF ME IN ER AND IN PATIENT AND TELL THEM HOW AWESOME THEY WERE THANK Y

Went in with sever abdominal pain. The Dr's here were great, fixed me right up. The one star is for the billing department, I was overcharged in my time of need. I called to inquire as to why they overcharged me, when on my insurance card it states the amount to be paid. They stated that's just what they charge, the lady showed no sympathy or a human side. Basically thats it, like she was reading from a manual, made no effort to look into my overcharged, thats just what she was told to do by her " billing specialist". I stated i would have to file a fraudulent charge on my credit card, she said she would make s note of it and if there was anything else she could help me with and to have a nice day.
