Cleveland Clinic - Medina Hospital Emergency Department

Brought my husband to the ER today 2/15 with chest pain due to extremely high blood pressure. They got him right in and took such good care of him. Kevin his RN was PHENOMENAL. What a wonderful, caring nurse. God put us in that emergency room at that exact time for a reason. I can't say enough good things. Dr Sayles was great too.

I went to the ER on 1/18/26 and from the start I can say that it was not at a busy time when I was there but I was treated in a timely and professional manner. I came in for an on going heart issue and Dr Ruhlin and the staff there were more than amazing. They talked to me about my symptoms, took the necessary tests and x-rays in less than a half hour and talked to my cardiologist to treat me on the spot and to move up an appointment I had already scheduled to see him for follow up. They had me out of there and home resting in about 2 hours.

Callous disregard for patients trying to rest. A group of nurses at the station 10 feet from our room spoke very loudly using profanity at 1:00 am, gossiping about other members of the staff. I asked them how they could be so rude, using the same word they had used. Security showed up immediately to ask me to leave. I have had a similar experience multiple times with rude behavior at very late hours and finally have had enough. The overall level of care was indifferent. Make sure to take a family member with you as a advocate for you care or you will be ignored.

Brought my husband in for vomiting and extreme abdominal pain. We waited a half hour, they triaged him, put in an IV, and sent him back out to the waiting room. An hour later, they got him and did a cat scan, and put him back in the waiting room. His pain was increasing the whole time. He just isn’t a complainer, so he laid down on the chairs in the waiting room with his legs under the armrests, because it was the only position that helped with the pain. An hour later, I finally asked the desk if there was anything they could do to help his pain, and they told me no, but a room was being cleaned and he could be given something once he was in the room. Now we are in the room and he at least has a bed to lie on. But the nurse who brought us in refused to do anything to help him when I told h

Clueless doctors at medina Er. They are not qualified to take care of human.lol They don't have the proper medical equipment for real testing. Er doctors need more training!! I wouldn't go here for help with a emergency!! Terrible experience with CC....
