Family Dental Care of Medina

I had an amazing experience at Family Dental Care of Medina. I went in feeling pretty awful because a bottom tooth had literally cracked in half and fallen out…not exactly a confidence-boosting moment. 😅 Even though it wasn’t technically a medical emergency, Dr. Kirlough’s team still fit me into their schedule last minute and even stayed after regular hours to help me. I mean…who does that? That level of care and kindness is rare. From the moment I walked in, everyone was incredibly friendly and welcoming. Kayla, the dental hygienist, was awesome…she made me feel completely at ease and honestly made the whole experience way more enjoyable than I ever expected a dental visit to be. Called for an emergency appointment, broken tooth. I had to leave a message, no one bothered to call me back. The next appointment they would schedule was 4 weeks away & during the day, after I asked for an evening. Great service.

I was very impressed with my first visit as my previous dentist closed earlier this year. My appointment was right on time (huge win), and I was impressed with technology used that none of my previous dentists had. There were incredible 3d visuals of my teeth/gums which helped share plans for my dental health. Everything was explained well, including options, and what was optional or over time. My teeth were cleaned well.

I absolutely LOVE this dentistry. Everyone is so kind, caring, and genuinely interested in you as a person. They work with you, never judge, and make you feel comfortable no matter where you’re starting with your dental health. As painless and gentle as possible, with a team that truly cares. I highly recommend them!

This used to be a good place. However, they are starting to do with so called Invisalign tracking scan during a routine exam, but they don't tell you they are charging for it until you get the bill. i went for a cleaning the day before New Year's Eve and was told they would do a 3D scan since I was not in their system. Okay fine, I understand that. However, a week later, I get a bill from them for $100 for the scans that they did which I have no intention of doing either braces or Invisalign. I called on Wednesday to question the bill, but they still have not returned my call. I texted them on Friday asking them to call me back to come to an agreement, but still nothing. I understand the practice is busy, but you should at least return patients' calls to settle a little; they probably know
