Oh boy. Where to start. Upon triage, nurse was cold and in-sympathetic. Like I was interrupting her free time, kudos to you for being awesome. Placed in a room for 6 hours and forgotten. In the mean time found a patients phone in the bathroom who had left hours prior. There were abandoned food trays in the lobby from breakfast still there at 8pm. Staff was short in person and attitude. Watchers were not pleasant and were openly expressing hoping to leave. Asked for juice from watcher, was told you’ll get what you get. I believe it was prune juice or some sort of substance splattered on the ceiling. PSA was very nice and was apologetic towards the expression of allll this said. I would never bring family or a kid to this place. Do the drive to Syracuse, bc ogdensburg ain’t it.

Every time a family member has had to visit this hospital for an emergency, it always seems like patients are put into a room & forgotten about. Information or test results are rarely obtained freely, without seeking staff to ask. Patients are left alone for hours without medical staff occasionally checking in on patients. Patients are rarely informed that particular tests are going to be ordered.

Ridiculously slow service, even for the ER. I have been here several times for emergencies and I walked out after getting no service from the doctor for over an hour, I drove all the way to canton Potsdam hospital instead; which I highly recommend. They do not make you feel like a priority whatsoever. Rude, slow service.

Dr. Jaitly is the best and has been such a blessing for both my mother and I as she deals with kidney disease. The North Country couldn't ask for a more skilled and caring physician.

Bless all the nurses and my doctor (Dr. Wei) at Claxton Hepburn Hospital that took care of me while I was there 🙏🏼 They were all so nice and caring. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. It was so peaceful and clean. They were all so helpful and happy to do it. Thank you.
