Claremont Nursing & Rehabilitation Center

If there was zero stars, that would be too much. My Mother had to be in there for 2 weeks in the Rehab side of the facility. The staff is extremely inattentive. The most incompetent staff I've ever encountered. Whenever I was there and had to get a nurse, most act like you are annoying/bothering them. You can push the nurse button and no one comes. One nurse mentioned it is a 17 minute average. If you are elderly and need help using the bathroom, 17 minutes is an extremely long time. Most elderly patients can't hold it that long. My mother had to have oxygen on and the bubble humidifier was empty for an entire night and half of the next day. She was getting very sick from it. The food made my mother physically sick, vomiting. My friend is currently in your facility and is having a horrible time with being left in soiled diapers and ugly CNA’s. The weekend aide chewed her out because she had to use the lift to get her out of bed and had to clean up her room. She said I’ll be glad when your regular aide gets back she’s not gonna do all this work you have me doing. There was so much more but too much to add. In addition she had my friend so upset when she soiled her diaper she was so scared to ask to be changed. She’s scared to report anything for fear of retaliation. What a horrible way to live in atmosphere.

The staff here are genuinely friendly, supportive, and always willing to help each other out. Everyone stays on top of their responsibilities, and things get done in a timely and efficient manner. It’s the kind of place I’d feel good about recommending to the people I care about.

If you are looking to bring your loved one here, you can rest assured they are going to receive the best nursing care. The nursing staff are so attentive and competent. It is obvious the building is clean and well cared for. Every time I walk into the building, the staff are smiling and the residents are happy. Lots of activities going on all the time and the therapy team is excellent as well.

I am happy to say that every time I visit Claremont I am greeted by happy residents in the hallways. There always seem to be plenty of activities going on and staff around to provide medical and emotional support. Way to go Claremont for making your residents.a priority.
