CityMD Toms River Urgent Care - New Jersey

I took my Mom here today and they took us right in. The Dr. came right in to see her and he was very professional and put my mom at ease immediately. He addressed all her concerns and took his time. It’s so rare for a busy healthcare facility to make a patient feel heard and not rushed. Great place from the front desk to the nurses and the doctor. Very professional, friendly and well organized! Thank you for taking such great care of my Mom!

I went to this urgent care last minute and Dr Davis was so helpful and kind with helping me find the best solution to how I was feeling. He talked about multiple options and when the medicine wasn't available at my pharmacy, the front desk & the doctor were able to order me a different medicine and figure everything out for me at the pharmacy within 30 minutes before they closed. I really appreciate the kindness and time you took to help me!

Had to have a DOT physical done here because Brick didn't have a physician who could perform it. APN that was there had a horrible attitude since she walked in the door and I failed for a few reasons which is ok! Felt as if she did not or would not listen to word I said to her. Then just shut down and was like when can I retake the physical, she lied and said 3 months (no set or specific time as per DOT) then puts in my file that I need a psych eval also because of the same mental health meds that I have been prescribed and been taking for 4yrs now and have never had a problem with. I guess she knows better then the DOCTOR who prescribed the. Passing on my meds are 100% her discretion! Can't tell me this wasn't personal attach! Messing with people metal health, family, jobs, and money.

Might be the worst place ever. The first time I went here, I had strep throat and chest pain and the guy sent me to the hospital and refused to give me medications unless i went to the hospital. Hospital didn't know why I was here and said the guy here was stupid. I come here yesterday and she tells me I have the flu and gives me some nasal spray that does nothing for nasal drip. I told her I get recurring strep and want to be tested for it. They refused and said just the flu. I disagree with that diagnosis.

Extremely disappointed and will not recommend or go there again. The doctors were too lazy to take any test and mistreated me. I had to go to ER and they all asked why I never got tested for anything and why they prescribed antibiotics without results.. Terrible!!
