CityMD Throgs Neck - Bronx

Place is clean and the tech was nice, long wait and nobody was there before me and once in the back another long wait to be seen. Doctor looked like he just came out of medical school, going by his approach and lack of. Didn't even check my chart for allergies or other medications. Dr. Yuan, gave me a stupid when it was pointed out to him by the tech that i was allergic to morin among others. He found that odd according to his stupid look as if if i don't know what I'm allergic to. Never would I want to be treated by that doctor who was there on 2/27/26. By coincidence my friend went there earlier and said the same thing. First time I ever complained about a doctor located there. I’ve been to CityMD in Throgs Neck multiple times, both for myself and for my children and husband. Overall, my experiences have been very positive. One thing I appreciate is the ability to make appointments. If you schedule ahead, you usually do not have to wait very long. There have been one or two occasions where I waited close to an hour, but it was clear as soon as I walked in that they were extremely busy. Outside of those rare situations, the wait times have been reasonable. The facility is clean and well maintained. The doctors are knowledgeable and seem very familiar with the common illnesses and viruses you typically see at urgent care. I have always felt that my concerns were addressed appropriately. Horrible experience. I was tested positive for Covid and the doctor did not send prescription for medication. I asked for anti nausea medication and he sent over an antihistamine. He did not even exam me just one quick look at my throat. I had to see my pcp two days later and she was shocked I wasn’t prescribed PAXLOVID which she then prescribed to me . Needless to say two days wasted of feeling horrible with the wrong meds and feeling much better now . Will not return there again.

Sunday 10/19/2025. First, they have parking! Second, Melanie, behind the desk, was warm and nice! It was an absolute pleasure conversating with her. Third, Genesis was amazing! She performed the most gentle Flu/covid nasal test EVER! She took vitals and answered my questions and was so nice! Fourth, Dr John De Trolio, was also amazing! Gave me all the info I needed and answered my questions as well. I had a wonderful experience at this location! Thank you again to all of you!!! CityMD Throgs Neck!

I went there on March 5th 2026 and I was pleased with the care I received. The staff is welcoming and very pleasant. Great place and above all Great staff
