I’m ngl, the doctors and assistants are cool I guess. It was my first time at this location, took an extra day off work cause I just wasn’t feeling 100%. Needed a doc note, came here, whatever. Simply asked the assistant IF IT WAS POSSIBLE to put “seen during the week” instead of the day, but you can’t. Okay, no problem there. No issues for the visit no concerns to mention. Not a big deal, not losing my job for it. Lol The shift lead was weird and unprofessional about it as if there was some hard on understanding when I asked the question to the assistant in the room. She reiterated it after I sat down in the front for an additional like, 5 minutes for the note and said “And it’s just for TODAY.” okay, weird, cause I know, but why did you say it like that? I live in the nearby area and have came here a few times for myself and was disappointed to be treated with the bare minimum . I was told that my sore throat was normal by the white doctor in this urgent care . The next day I went to the hospital to find out I had covid. The urgent care doctor did not take any proper steps to diagnose me. Another time I bought my 5 year old child. The same white bald doctor didn't even listen to her lungs. Literally did nothing but look at her with his eyes and said shes fine just a cold.following night she was in pain so I rushed her to kings county hospital. Turns out she had pneumonia!!!!. The only time I was treated with Care was from 1 black female doctor. I feel a sense of urgency to unfortunately let the BLACK community be aware they may me syste

I came in shaking with multiple strep throat symptoms. I had been having severe throat pain that day and walked to the nearest urgent care. The front desk was very kind and helpful but I cannot say the same for the rest of the visit. I told the doctor I was feeling strep throat symptoms and was crying in the patient chair. I told them I work with children which was probably the cause of my sickness and further leading me to believe it was strep. I got a rapid test for strep that came back negative and they told me to go home and take ibuprofen. The nurse even questioned if he should take another swab since I kept involuntarily gagging, to which the doctor said no. Do not go here if you don't want a bill. Went there and got billed almost $60.00 because they do not accept Medicaid. They will only accept your primary insurance. Medicaid covers what the primary insurance doesn't pay. I strongly advise looking for an Urgent Care location that accepts Medicaid in addition to your primary insurance. 1st UPDATE: after I received the bill in the mail I contacted the billing department and they took my Medicaid information. The open balance did get paid. I have a zero copay policy. The receptionist at CityMD was wrong for telling me that they do not accept Medicaid. 2nd UPDATE: I went there a second time and everything went good. After completing the check in process I was told to have a seat. 3rd UPDATE: I went there a third time. This time after I sat down
