I recently visited CityMD located at 288 Flatbush Avenue in Brooklyn, New York, and I am pleased to express my appreciation for the exemplary care and professional service I received. From the moment I entered the facility, the staff demonstrated exceptional courtesy and efficiency. I would like to give special recognition to Jonathan, the Medical Assistant, whose professionalism, attentiveness, and respectful demeanor set a positive tone for my visit. He ensured that I felt comfortable and well-informed throughout the preliminary process. I also want to acknowledge Dr. Jonathan Berg, M.D. for his outstanding professionalism and attentive care. Dr. Berg took the time to thoroughly consult with me, explain his assessment, and ensure that I fully understood the prescribed treatment plan. His

Laetitia (I hope I’m spelling her name right!) at the front desk made my whole visit better. I came in a little nervous for a routine check, but she made the entire check-in process feel easy and honestly put me at ease right away. She was genuinely kind, explained everything clearly, and didn’t make me feel rushed even though I had to wait a while. It’s rare to find someone at the front who actually makes you feel welcome—she’s the reason I’d come back here instead of anywhere else. Thanks for making a routine appointment feel so much less stressful.

This was the worst urgent care I have ever been to. The tech/ nurse that I saw was very nice, however, after waiting over an hour and fifteen minutes to be seen, the doctor saw me for less than ten seconds. I have had hearing loss for the past two weeks, after having the flu. I've had life long issues and multiple inner ear surgeries throughout my lifetime. I also have tinnitus. The doctor did not ask me about my medical history or anything. The Doctor's name is: Saribekyan Arpine. As black women, we often aren't taken seriously as patients. I felt like she dismissed my complaint. This lady literally looked in my ears for .5 seconds, and said "Flonase." She didn't ask me if I had already tried decongestants or ANYTHING. She said " Flonase." I asked her as she as quickly exiting the room,

I arrived at City MD 288 Flatbush ave I was greeted by Ms Geneva she took my information. The place was spotless really clean and smelled fresh. I was guided to an office where I met Dr. Aaron Franklin. He didn’t play he took care of my issues and explained every step of the way. The whole team at this location were on a different level. They were about business. Watch out Methodist there seems to be a new sheriff in town. Thank you city MD and especially Dr.Franklin.

Don’t go here if you need urgent help, the wait for a visit is close to two hours. Beyond that, the team specializes in sending surprise bills and won’t validate if care they provide is covered by your insurance plan even if you are in network. Lastly, the staff do not want to let patients keep their own record of visits. This is concerning as a patient if you need continuity of care on an issue from another provider. On top of that, the care that was provided did not match the after visit summary from the visit which was dangerously generic and had almost no content related to my visit expect advice to go to the ED if I was experiencing the symptoms I presented with.
