CityMD Park Slope Urgent Care - Brooklyn

Grateful to the staff, nurse, and Dr. Sherpa for today's visit. Overnight, realized I needed to be seen for a sinus infection. Scheduling was easy on line. Although there were a lot of people being seen and I was told there may be a wait, things moved faster than I expected. The front desk staff member was personable, checked me in quickly (I had checked mostly on line), and was caring; the nurse had a good bedside manner, was thorough & quick in taking vitals etc. Dr. Sherpa was up to date on my condition and status, allowing him to do his exam & give me good information & advice. He's fantastic, very personable and patient-oriented. Script was called in and I am now all set. I give these high marks as a health care provider; this was a busy day for them & they were graceful & thorough. T

Had an excellent experience there this morning. Front desk staff was friendly and patient with me. I was seen quickly and the nurse was efficient and kind. I explained to doctor that throughout my younger years, doctors never believed that I was in severe pain from chronic strep throat--to the point that I had an emergency tonsillectomy because--again--no on believed that I was in pain. Doctor said, "well, I believe you." I could have wept. Highly recommend CityMD Park Slope!! Thank you, Dr. Liu!

Great experience for my son's visit. Since it’s an urgent care, the wait time was naturally quite long, but it was well worth it. The entire staff was friendly, and Dr. Sherpa was exceptional. Unlike many doctors who are either too wordy or too vague, Dr. Sherpa explained the medical situation, the treatment, and the follow-up care briefly, clearly, and accurately. It was so impressive to get such precise information so efficiently.

I wanted to give a big shoutout to this CityMD! Honestly, if my PCP hadn’t been available, I wouldn’t have known what to do I probably would’ve called Teladoc. He’s usually open every day until around 7, but due to one of the Jewish holidays, he was closed. I say all this because I’ve had bad experiences at other urgent cares before. They’d tell me to grab something over the counter or “follow up with your PCP,” and I’d end up wasting a $30–$40 copay for advice I’d already tried. This visit was completely different. The check-in process was quick, the wait time was reasonable, and the front desk staff was genuinely kind and attentive. NP Tammy was incredible she made me feel seen, heard, and cared for. I came here in August 2025 for routine STI testing and notified CityMD I would be self-pay. It was $225 for the visit plus lab fees. They did not notify me what the lab fees would be. I never received a bill. Fast forward to a few months later, I receive a letter from a collections agency that I owed almost $600 from Quest. I called the collections agency and was informed there were three separate bills from Quest for the same day, now totaling upwards of $900. Again, just ROUTINE STI labwork. It would not cost this much to get this done if I had thought to go through Quest alone. CityMD is completely unwilling to help and says it needs to be settled through Quest, even though Quest also says for the provider at CityMD to reach out and notify them it was self-pay.
