CityMD Northvale Urgent Care- New Jersey

Dr. Alejandro is the worst MD I have ever had. He was condescending and had made up his mind before even coming in the room on my treatment. I heard him outside the exam room that he was going to use my case as a teaching moment. I am a Nurse Practitioner so I am aware of what I needed and relayed that to the nurse. I attempted to advocate for myself and the fact I was questioning his medical knowledge only made him more condescending. My husband was there three days prior and saw a different provider. I requested the same treatment as him as we had the same thing. I would stay away from this doctor at this location. The treatment I received was awful and the bedside manner and care of this physician was even worse.

Absolutely miserable experience. Understaffed and overworked. Dr. Howard is rude and has deplorable bedside manner. She quieted me several times when voicing concerns and quieted me again while trying to communicate my son’s medical history. She failed to swab him for flu etc even though he presented symptoms. She told me to give him mucinex and a humidifier. When I brought this to their attention after the fact, they did little to rectify the situation. I was told to bring him in AGAIN to be swabbed. That I would have to my co pay for this visit as well. Shameful.

Made an appointment online and was seen immediately upon arriving. Facility was clean and service easy. Overall was happy with my visit and left with a resolution, pharmacy was called in quickly and ready for p/u within 30 minutes of me leaving.

My daughter had foot pain and it wasn’t easing up after a few days. We walked-in and there was barely a wait after we checked in. The nurse, Joe, took us in right away and was gentle with my daughter including when he took her x-rays. Dr. Rohani, was nice and took his time and covered everything for us all the way up to scheduling an orthopedic appointment as a follow up.

This was the worst urgent care experience I have ever had the displeasure of experiencing. The doctor did not listen, did not care, and became hostile and defensive after explaining and re-explaining the problem. I am an R.N. Had to go elsewhere to receive proper treatment - a simple prescription for antibiotics which was readily understood and written by the second provider based on symptoms that even a medical student would have recognized. I will be writing a formal complaint to City MD.
