We had a really tough morning—my daughter tested positive for the flu the day before her most anticipated Disney vacation, and we were all feeling very down. Neha’s warm reception and positive energy truly meant a lot to us. Her kindness made a difficult day feel a little better. We’re very grateful.

Alma Duka, PA had a rude and condescending attitude towards my husband. He went in around 3:30pm on Tuesday November 11th to CityMD New Dorp Urgent Care to get treatment for his swollen painful hand. The receptionist, assistant who took his blood pressure, and the x-ray tech were all professional and courteous. When Alma saw and questioned my husband about his injury she kept insisting he was lying and not being honest. After the visit was over she came outside to the waiting room. She started telling us that we we should get our story right and that his previous injury results from months ago showed nothing was wrong, and that it was not related. Very good urgent care experience. Wait time was short, staff was friendly and efficient, doctor was thorough. Got in and out quickly—exactly what you want from urgent care.

Walked in and although my husbands insurance card and the website both said that his copay was $30 they tried to charge him $90 because when they ran the insurance the copay showed 90 for out of network providers. They’re not an out of network provider and they agreed they’re not out of network but when I pressed them they literally told me that because other people don’t pay their bills they always collect the higher amount and then their billing department will issue a refund “if they’re wrong”. Absolutely illegal billing practices and just scummy overall. I don’t blame the front desk people for the policy but they were rude as hell about it

Front desk lady, Amanda, was a little rude, when I first came in, she seemed casual, but after my name was called, she called my name as if I was in trouble, and then uttered, "Come Over Here," like she ordering me over like I was a child. It was very rude, and I did not appreciate that. The rudeness didn't end there, she ordered me over, telling me to pay $25 copay, which I was shocked by this command. I never get billed for copay when my insurance goes through. So, I left.
