CityMD Nanuet Urgent Care - Rockland County

The front desk staff are kind and accomodating in my experience and the facility is clean. However, the doctor or NP I saw today was worse than a Google search with my eyes closed. Absolute waste of time to come here. It was as if someone with no medical knowledge walked off the street and into the room. He very apathetically listened to my explanation of symptoms, barely paid attention, asked important questions twice, clearly not having paid attention the first time. Made no attempt to find a solution for me. (I was exposed to a gas leak and was experiencing headaches). He literally was guessing about what I should do next, saying we don't know what I was exposed to. (I do know what I was exposed to and stated the names of the chemicals twice). I cannot say enough positive things about my experience this afternoon. I called my primary doctor and of course he is very busy cause everyone has the flow welcome to New York in the winter. He recommended me to come to this specific location in Nanuet. There were nothing short of courteous, kind, efficient welcoming anybody to complains about them has never been to an office where they are really rude. They just don’t know the difference. These people are wonderful. They helped me out a lot. Thank you.

So disappointed with the NP that I saw today. I went there first thing this morning because I had a severe sinusitis. I knew what was wrong but my ENT could not see me until next week. I needed antibiotics because that is in fact a bacterial infection. The woman NP that I saw argued with me that it was viral, all while I was complaining about the entire left side of my head being in massive pain and pressure, my teeth hurt, my jaw hurt, my neck hurt I was practically in tears from the pain. She still would not or could not recognize that I had a very severe sinus infection. She reluctantly gave me antibiotics and nose sprays all while telling me they don't give these things for viruses. I went home felt worse and very uncomfortable with the diagnosis she made about it being viral

Horrible, Dr Emmanuel said on my second visit I was all well. When I came home I still had a fever. Had to go back to work the next day because would not extend my work note. The day I went back to work my boss had to send me home. I wanted to give a negative star but you don't have that. By the way they took my money for the second visit. Not to think what my insurance paid twice. I will never go back there ever again. I hope you read this before you go.

I went to CityMD in Nanuet because I suffer from severe sinusitis and my regular doctor was unavailable. I brought the empty bottles of my previous prescriptions (steroids and a Z‑Pak), which normally help me stop a full flare‑up before it gets worse. I clearly explained my symptoms: severe sinus pressure, the start of a cough, and a sore throat. Dr. Vidra showed very poor bedside manner and was extremely robotic throughout what was essentially a 5‑minute exam. She dismissed my history and needs, and claimed she only prescribed the Z‑Pak because “I asked for it.” She then told me to call my Dr or return once I had “full‑blown symptoms,” which was frustrating and completely counterproductive when I was trying to prevent exactly that.
