CityMD Livingston at Summit Health Hub - New Jersey

Why all urgent cares don’t follow the practices of this one is confusing. I really felt very welcomed by everyone. They all listened to my concerns and did a full work up. Going in, you scan a QR code with your phone to complete the registration and copay, if necessary. I waited less than 20 minutes midday Saturday to be seen and immediately received assistance and care. From now on, I will GLADLY take the 30 minute drive to this one instead of the usual City MD I go to that’s 10 minutes away. I only tried this one because I was in the area. Great job to the staff that were in on 11/22/25!!! I was amazed.

The registration process is simply ridiculous. Staff is seated at registration but you need to scan QR to check in. Was in line for 5 minutes before anyone mentioned this. Sign is super tiny on wall away from registration. Saw an older sick gentleman struggling with his phone. Ridiculous

As a board certified ER physician with 17 years of full time ER experience in the past, I wanted to share my opinion of this facility. Went here last week for GI symptoms. It was my second time visiting this facility as I was treated here 4-5 years ago and had excellent care at that time. I love that this is a more advanced urgent care as both of my visits required more advanced care than is typically given in an urgent care (IV fluids, labs, IV meds, CT imaging with the first visit). I was seen by a competent team of a board certified ER doc (Dr. Charles Farmer) and a very experienced nurse (Mike). Both provided prompt, professional and compassionate care. My first time there, seen in 65 minutes. Waiting room was full. Kept updated on wait times, and great Doctor and staff care. Second time, waiting room 1/4 full, walked out after 2 hours 45 minutes, zero communication from staff.

1216 2025 My wife went to urgent care for dizziness. The doctors they are very lazy. It was an empty place. He told my wife to go to the emergency room because she’s dealing with dizziness. It’s like the doctors they are lazy. It’s not worth going yet. Don’t waste your time the doctors don’t know what they’re doing that this is a very bad place. Do not waste your time. Going to Summit medical in Livingston.
