Customer Reviews
I know a lot of folks have had bad experiences at this location, but I stopped by today to get medication for a terrible, persistent cough, and even without an appointment I was seen within fige minutes. Front desk was very pleasant and helpful, and check in was fast and efficient. I was attended to by Dr. Hang who was professional, supportive, and very helpful. She provided all the services to diagnose me and gave me a ton of information regarding my condition and treatment options. After the visit, my prescriptions were sent next door to Walgreens and I picked up within 10 minutes. All together a very easy and pleasant experience. 🤷🏻♀️
Avoid at all costs. Once you are seen you will receive a bill for approx. 300 no matter what your visit was for. You will not be able to contact anyone at CityMD/Summit/etc for information about the bill. You will not get an itemized bill. You will not be able to get answers and your insurance company will tell you different information even if CityMD is technically in-network. AVOID because though this business is not a legal scam, they have very dubious business practices that should give you major pause. Go anywhere else but here. When I've called CityMD/Summit the rep hung up on me. When I tried to pay the bill online, my credit card didn't go through. It's an endless loop. Avoid. Avoid. Avoid.
I booked an appointment for earwax removal (as this is a service mentioned on their website (see attachment)). A medical assistant checked my vitals, told me the doctor would be in shortly (coded language for a 40+ minute wait), only for the doctor to tell me that they don't actually do earwax removal. I was charged $75 (with insurance) for literally nothing. They then tried to book me a follow up appointment with one of their ENT specialists over an hour away (whose reviews consistently mention being overcharged and under-helped). So instead I went to CVS minute clinic, who was able to fix everything for $15. Bless 🙏 And yet I'm still not finished dealing with CityMD because they double charged both my credit card and my HCSA the $75 copay for the visit, and now two weeks later their
Just because the clinic is called "CityMD" doesn't mean that you will see an actual DOCTOR, and not a "Physician's Assistant." That is what happened to me. My information was also entered into the system incorrectly, and I was misdiagnosed and wound up being give the incorrect medication. Four weeks later, I am still sick. If you go there, insist on seeing an actual DOCTOR. Better yet, don't go there at all. I will be reporting them to my insurance and the state medical board for fraud. Watch for CityMD to try and take this review down. If so, I will put it back up. People need to know what is going on. At another visit, I was waiting to be seen and I heard one of the nurses absolutely say the most horrible things about a previous patient. I heard the entire thing and I was appall
Unfortunately, there isn't an option to leave zero stars for a very traumatizing experience in this office and with Dr. Amir Estephan. I went in for an emergency on December 2023. It was for swollen finger tip. He said he had to first numb my finger. It wasn't clear why he had to numb it. He didn't prep me at all for the pain...A first gigantic needle went in on one side of the finger and it was the most painful thing. He then told me he had to do it again on the other side of my finger. And as I was crying to have him not do it, asking him to stop, he went ahead and did it anyway...I was in so much shock and pain that I needed to call my sister. Keep in mind, I had no idea what he was trying to accomplish. Only then, did I realize he was trying to perform a culture and collect a sample
