CityMD Great Neck Urgent Care - Long Island

Don't come here‼️‼️‼️‼️ I was treated very poorly and I feel that I was racially profiled by the doctor who was there today about 20 minutes ago. I came to the urgent care because I was in a car accident with an 18 wheeler. I tried to present the report from my orthopedist which showed fluid in my ankle/ joint , particularly torn tendons, a fracture, stiffness, and swelling. The doctor didn't want to even look at the report. I told him that my ankle has been in throbbing pain since yesterday and I have been taking Tylenol and Motrin and it's not working especially for this kind of injury. He said I think it's just a sprain and claimed he couldn't prescribe me anything at the moment ( because he doesn't think no amount of medicine is going to take my pain away) I didn't ask for my pain to

My exam was under two minutes, never looked at my ears, nose or mouth after coming in with complaint of an eye ache headache which could be sinuses. Everyone else was good except for this doctor. Never had an exam like this in my life

⭐️ Absolutely terrible experience at this urgent care. I arrived 15 minutes early for my appointment, checked in, and paid my co-pay. They brought me to a room where I waited 20 minutes just for a nurse to take my vitals. After that, I was told the doctor would be “right in.” I waited another 49 minutes—no one ever came. When I finally stepped out to ask what was going on, I saw staff in hazmat suits and was told it would be another hour before I’d be seen. When I asked why no one had come to update me, the woman at the desk was extremely rude, saying, “We can’t help you right now—we’re extremely busy.” When I explained that I’d already been told the doctor was coming, she raised her voice at me. To make it worse, they refused to refund my co-pay even though I was never seen by a doctor.

The front desk staff and medical assistant were courteous and friendly- that's why i'm giving 2 stars, not 1. My home kit covid test came out with positive results twice for covid. I wanted to confirm my diagnosis since both kits had past expiration date. After the swab, I waited almost 30 mins for the MD to open the door. Told me to walk outside the hallway where there were other people and said everything came out negative so they are not going to call it covid. She advised me to get a new test and try again. Whatever the result is, this should have been discussed in a PRIVATE ROOM. Didn't even give me a chance to discuss alternatives like pcr. Excellent Dr! Dr Church and Team were fabulous with taking care of a deep kitchen knife would! 5 stars n kudos to all- they even had to stay late to take care of me. Feeling grateful FMC
