CityMD Forest Avenue Urgent Care - Staten Island

The people were nice enough. The care I received was fine for what it was. However, after telling them I did not want any tests that would cost extra after my office visit, and being assured by the doctor that the tests she was doing were included, I received two additional bills. It's either a lack of knowledge, which is worrying, or willful deception. The company will not address my concern or return my call. And I keep getting payment notices. I won't be going here again without a serious resolution. The care was not good enough to make up for this nonsense.

I am writing to formally report a deeply concerning experience I had at your facility. During my visit, I was subjected to sexual harassment and experienced unprofessional, disrespectful behavior from staff members at the front desk. The comments and conduct I encountered were inappropriate and potentially illegal. The behavior I experienced made me feel unsafe, disrespected, and unwelcome. Such actions are unacceptable in any professional setting, and I am concerned about how staff with this conduct continue to represent your organization. I urge you to take this matter seriously and conduct a thorough investigation. All patients deserve to be treated with dignity, respect, and safety, and it is critical that appropriate steps are taken to address this misconduct. I look forward to you

Wonderful place with an amazing staff I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Gianna was an absolute doll. She made me feel comfortable, was incredibly gentle, and I didn’t feel a thing when she drew my blood. Hands down the easiest and most pleasant appointment I’ve ever had!

Been here a few times for myself and for my kids. They have always addressed the need, including taking bloodwork, flu and strep tests, x-rays, and even following up with my primary care doctor when there was a serious issue.

I wish I could give their rude Doctor Quintina Benson 0 stars!. First she was very dismissive and kept cutting me off and talking over me and wouldn't listen to me concerns, claiming to already know my concerns. She even said my medical condition didn't matter to her! Then she didn't check to see if my skin infection had cleared up! Then she prescribed the wrong medicine that doesn't treat impetigo according to the pharmacist! She also claimed to not know what medicines were covered under my plan, so I couldn't pick up any medicine at the pharmacy to treat my conditions. This is also a Black doctor, and you can tell no one taught her how to talk to people. You can also tell she's not used to anything...Avoid this "Temu" Doctor at all costs!
