CityMD Flatbush Urgent Care - Brooklyn

I made an appointment online, I did so twice because there was no follow up email to confirm the appointment. I was running late from work and called to inform staff and also find out if it was alright to still come in when closing was so close. They agreed and I was able to make it in time. I approached the desk with the most nonchalant demeanors. I was told that I should have filled out the documentation online that was sent to me... well guess what? I had no email confirmation, nor did any paperwork hit my inbox. I kindly stated those facts and was sent a link to do so. BIG issue!... I already had an account but couldn't sign in due to the fact it was tied to my former number. I expressed that and I seemed to have annoyed the front desk who so " gingerly" (yeah right) provided me a man

I work at an urgentcare as a medical assistant and honestly not really the best care, very basic and I understand its an urgentcare, but at least make your patients feel welcome. The scribe was nice but she was kinda stumbling every where, and the triage was all over the place. The doctor was nice but he gave me antibiotics for nothing, of course I confirmed if I had to taken them or not and he said no so why give them to me then. I forgot to get a note and they said I HAD to download the app in order to get a note. Why does the web browser not have this setting, only the app. And then she said it will take longer if I just put in a request over the phone then on the app. That doesnt make any sense. At my urgentcare they call, ask for a letter, and we process it in 5 mins. There's no need

Went with my partner and waited to see someone only for the doctor to tell us to go drink chicken soup and have some tea. We already were doing that without having to see a doctor. The doctor refused to recommend any OTCs or give any scripts to alleviate symptoms. When we told him the other meds my partner was on, he didn’t even know what the drug was. Surprising considering he’s supposed to be a doctor. When asked what we got out of the visit since he provided no help, the doctor said that he confirmed that my partner was sick. Unbelievable. Not sure if all the doctors at this practice are like this but honestly, avoid at all cost. 1000% would not recommend.

I chose this specific CityMD because it had the best ratings in my neighborhood. After I arrived and checked in on the app, I began to wait. I noticed that people who came in after me were being called, so I approached the front desk to ask how many people were still ahead of me. An employee then called the manager, telling them I had been waiting for almost an hour. I expect front desk staff to be attentive enough to notice a client who has been waiting for a long time without their name being called. Eventually, I saw the doctor, who was kind and helpful. He instructed me to wait up front for a work note. After sitting for several more minutes, I went back to the desk to ask about the note, and an employee told me they would print it. Front desk is excellent. Renee the manager is unprofessional and nasty. Not sure how she runs this place when she was gossiping with her staff about my condition. Definitely hippa
