CityMD East 161st Urgent Care - Bronx

First time experience going to this CityMD location and it was great. From the receptionist Iiona greeting me and directing me to scan the QR code to the nurse Khadijah having good interpersonal skills. She was very very nice and caring. Dr. Hong was amazing and very gentle with taking the test. He also helped me with a doctors note for work. Great staff workers and fast service!!!

If I could provide less than a star, I would! When son and I entered the location, we were told to scan the Qr CODE for check -in, after waiting for 25 mins I inquired if they would call me for the check in . At this location, be expected to ask questions so staff can move on if not, they will keep you waiting. The biggest disappointment was when I was asked by different staff if staff came in yet to complete the vitals, even the provider! The nurse even asked if I wanted her to check for my son's temp.. and provider came inside the room ready to give my son a medication for the cough without letting me know what it is first. he also did not examine my son before proceeding to discuss the treatment. He said "they are tired and have been serving the community all day" with same issue (The F

I have asthma and I needed emergency treatment. I called them to check if they provided that. The lady who responded said yes, and told me to go to their office. I checked in and started to wait. I was clear in my communication that I had difficulty breathing and needed urgent help when I checked in. After waiting a while I asked her how long I needed to wait. She said I had 3 patients in front of me plus an emergency. I can’t put you in front of others she said. Not being able to breathing didn’t seem to her an emergency.

I been here twice and the wait time is horrible they always only have one doctor on site. It's outrageous how they have you sitting in a examing room for an hour

the front desk girl was very nice.And the assistant Ana was lovely and super caring.
