CityMD Bushwick Urgent Care - Brooklyn

Horrible. I called in since I was unable to make an online appt. I said what I was experiencing but when I got there and was checked in I was told there are no X-ray and after being seen by the PA I was told I needed an ultrasound but that will not be at that location. I work in Brooklyn and live in New Jersey. I hobbled in to the facility only to be told I may have to go to another location. What an inconvenience. If I was told there wasn’t x-ray at the location I would have chosen another location. This was not right.Thanks , Dr. Cruz

Went here on one occasion when I had an issue. The doctor was *EXTREMELY* rude, berated me over my health, and did nothing. I still got charged a copay. The disgusting attitude needs to stop. This is people's health, time, and money. There's nothing "bold and empowered" about this kind of garbage behavior. Disgusting.

Front desk/staff/nurses/pa were all great! The doctor was extremely rude and unprofessional, spend less than 15 seconds disclosing my test results and asked me if I “can speak English” after I stuttered a bit?? That’s just unacceptable. He also sounded very annoyed after I asked a follow up question. Oh, and he also got my results wrong and prescribed the wrong medication for me, confirmed by another visit I had with a different doctor

You never plan on ending up in an urgent care center during a trip... but here we are. I was in Brooklyn visiting family when I woke up with a terrible sore throat and a mild fever. Found CityMD on Google Maps and decided to try my luck — and I’m honestly glad I did. The check-in process was smooth (⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐), the front desk staff was kind (⭐⭐⭐⭐), and the doctor I saw was incredibly thorough. She took the time to explain what was going on and gave me options. I felt like I was being treated as a person, not just a patient. Waiting time? Around 20 minutes — not bad at all for NYC. This place has been in a state of steady decline for the past three years I've lived in the area. I can't remember one time I have seen an actual Doctor, most of the time I see a PA. I visited there because of an excruciating flare up of CHRONIC SCIATICA PAIN Friday night (June 21st, 2024), arrived at about 7:07pm. The Manager on duty that night was a young lady named TRICIA. I sat down in the waiting area. To my surprise, less than 10 minutes later I was taken to the back. A young lady came and took my vitals within another 2-3 minutes. After that, I waited in that back room with the door closed until about 8:34pm (OVER AN HOUR). Ayoung lady then came in and brought me a gown to put on.
