CityMD Boerum Hill Urgent Care - Brooklyn

Been here 2 times each visit about a year apart. Waiting area virtually empty except for maybe one or two other people. Front desk was friendly and attentive. There was a constant sound of laughing w the staff. The longer of the two visits was just 2 hours. Dr Zanghi (Z), who a very few others have written poorly of, could not have been better. Very open to discussion and very knowledgeable. The second physician I saw, whose name I cannot recall (berg?) was also very thorough and friendly. Diagnosed me w flu after a test. I’m grateful I can walk to this place when I’m ill. My only fear is that since this place seems to never have a line (I also pass it when I go to the gym and see this) that it will get closed down.

I had a minor ear infection / blockage and made a same-day appointment to get a flush done. Walked in 15 minutes prior to my appointment time, was checked in smoothly and waited ~5 minutes before being moved into a patient room. Once the intake nurse took my vitals, I waited an additional 15 minutes or so before being seen by the attending physician. The entire process took about 45 minutes and staff was cordial and professional. I double-checked that CityMD accepted my insurance prior to visiting which may have reduced any confusion with copay/billing. I also took the time to fill out all of the patient paperwork ahead of my appointment which I think helped speed up the overall check-in.

Amazing experience every time at the Boerum Hill CityMD. Diana, Olivia, and Anisa are all so kind and thorough. They actually take the time to listen, explain everything clearly, and even helped consider my insurance. The doctors are professional and efficient. Hardly any wait on the times I’ve been, both during the day and after work. So happy to have this level of care right in my neighborhood. Honestly a better experience than visits I’ve had with top hospitals in the city.

Doctor Benjamin Mann is probably the best doctor I’ve ever met in my life. Extremely smart, well spoken, efficient. Genuinely, didn’t know a doctor could be this good. Citymd better give this man a promotion (but don’t move him from this location please I need him). I also never leave reviews, I just feel like I owe him something for being this good.

Even though I was late to the appointment time I registered for, I was seen within 5 minutes. I had to get a ring removed from my finger and the team was so effective and helpful! Obviously not an enjoyable experience, but a really caring, personable team. They really saved my finger and saved me from an ER trip!
