What a terrible experience! I'm still shaken by our experience at the clinic today. My wife was in excruciating pain, so we rushed there with our family, hoping for urgent attention. We asked to be seen quickly, but we were left waiting for 35 long minutes. When the nurse finally examined my wife, the doctor came in, and I explained the severity of her pain. But instead of empathy, he told me she was overreacting. I was taken aback by his insensitive comment. I don’t recommend this place even in emergency situations.
I had a very disappointing and painful experience at this clinic. The doctor who stitched the cut on my hand was neither patient nor compassionate. He was rough when giving me two anesthesia injections in my palm, which caused me a lot of pain. When he started stitching, I could still feel every time the needle went into my skin. When I told him during the procedure that I was in severe pain, he responded in an unprofessional way and told me I had “two options: either let him continue and tolerate the pain, or receive another anesthesia injection.” I explained that he had already given me two injections and I was still feeling everything, but he kept repeating that I “must choose,” and he seemed irritated. When I asked him if a third injection would hurt, he refused to answer and continue
Dennis, the shift supervisor, demonstrated extremely unprofessional and concerning behavior during my visit. His conduct was not only inappropriate but also bordered on fraudulent, and I strongly believe he should be removed from his position or suspended pending retraining. I clearly requested that my copayment bill be sent to My Home, but he refused and claimed a new policy prevented him from doing so. He then proceeded to charge my card twice, stating that the transaction did not go through on his end. I showed him proof that the funds had been withdrawn from my account. Only then did he acknowledge the error and say he would issue a refund and send the bill to My Home, directly contradicting the “policy” he had insisted on moments earlier. This experience raises serious concerns abou
I went to City MD at the Bensonhurst location because I have been experiencing severe chest pain, a very high heart rate, shortness of breath, and an extremely dry cough with no mucus coming out. I haven’t been able to sleep for two nights due to the intense pressure in my chest and a constant headache. When I asked the doctor to properly listen to my lungs because I felt strong wheezing and worsening symptoms, he placed the stethoscope twice through two layers of clothing (two sweaters) and didn’t even listen to my back at all. After that, he simply said, “Your lungs are clear,” and prescribed me only a cough syrup. I’m genuinely shocked. How is this considered proper medical care? Listening through thick clothing, not checking the back, and dismissing serious symptoms like mine doesn’t
I had a terrible experience at this CMD. I called ahead and asked if they do the Taxi & Limousine Commission (TLC) medical exam. They told me yes, and the price was $120. When I arrived, I made it clear I was there for the TLC exam. After waiting and completing the process, I paid $120 — only to find out they had given me the wrong test (CDL exam). When I told them this, they argued and claimed I had asked for CDL, which I absolutely did not. Then they said if I wanted the TLC exam, I’d have to pay $245, which is outrageous considering the TLC website lists the exam cost between $80–$120. I ended up disputing the charge with my credit card company and went to another doctor who charged only $50 for the same TLC exam. CMD wasted my time, tried to overcharge me, and acted very unprofession
