CityMD Bayside Urgent Care - Queens

second time i used this location for my wife .she started showing flu symptoms over thanksgiving weekend .we arrived Monday approximately at opening time .after signing in we were given an appropriate wait time . which ended up being shorter than expected. wife was tested for flu and covid . fortunately only the flu . first class experience from front desk and staff . the doctor himself was patient and compassionate. prescribed necessary medications. off we went. the whole visit was done in an hour. wife is feeling better a week later . thank you city med of bayside ny for your professionalism

Horrible doctor. His name was doctor Lee and I never had a worse experience with a doctor than this one. We brought our baby here in an emergency and everyone else was fine, but this doctor… as soon as he came in he was doubting and downplaying everything that was going on and legitimately make us feel terrible as if it was our fault. We came here for help, not to be judged and make the whole situation worse. After explaining the situation three times and telling him to “look again”, he finally understood it and did something about it. Seriously, if you do not want to work, then don’t. At an urgent care it is crucial to take some stuff seriously, especially when a baby is involved.

Currently having difficulty breathing from a 2 week long flu that upgraded to pneumonia. Im hardly able to speak and front desk told me that in order to be seen by a doctor i need to have my insurance Information (memberID) on hand. When I asked to run my SS# front desk shrugged and told me "I cant help you" forcing me to leave the office and suffer further.

This is an urgent care center, and I understand its limitations. Still, my experience with Dr. Lee was disappointing. I came in with a wound I was anxious about. He offered to clean the wound, which I did not feel comfortable doing on my own. Once he mentioned the possibility of stitches (which could not be provided on site), I became lightheaded with cold sweats and needed to lie down. At this point, Dr. Mike Lee leaves the room and does not return to clean the wound or check on me. Nor did any other medical provider check on me. A medical assistant kindly brought me a water and confirmed that I had recovered enough to leave. I then spent about four hours in the ER, where a specialist determined the wound would heal on its own and did not require stitches. In hindsight, the ER referral

Dr Lee was very efficient in removing a small piece of glass from my heel. Instant relief. Staff at the reception polite, I was a walk in and was seen fast.
