City Chemist

Been going to City Chemist for a while—great for both prescriptions (fast, helpful pharmacists) and beauty/wellness shopping (Peter Thomas Roth back in stock, luxury items, candles, etc.). Staff is always ready to assist and super friendly. It's a nice change from big chains. Minor minus for occasional crowds during peak times or higher prices on premium stuff, but the vibe and expertise make up for it. Strong 4 stars—worth a visit!

So thankful for this place, the whole staff are kind and helpful. I get all my prescriptions from here and have never had an issue. They have the cutest gift area and a great selection of skin and hair care products too! You'll never want to go back to Walgreen's

Aw I’m so bummed to see some of the negative reviews! They aren’t a CVS or a big chain! I’ve lived in this neighborhood for years and they are a deeply, friendly “neighbor” of mine right around the corner from my apt. As far as the prices… Everyone seems to want to shop local and/or support anti-corporate agendas so it’s interesting to see these reviews when you actually HAVE to support small businesses! They are shifting prices to survive and I’m sure it’s still hard given the prices of this neighborhood these days. In regard to the people that work here.. OOF!!! Disagree.. The people that work here are friendly, kind and sometimes talk to you.. which I think is amazing because we rarely get that customer service anymore. Anyways.. rant over. I love this pharmacy for my medications, O

Fantastic experience! Been coming here 18 years. The pharmacy has always done a filament and compassionate job. Even dropped off my prescription to me in my car because my baby was sleeping in the car. The beauty section is very spa like and great greeting cards! 😌😄

Wouldn’t send prescriptions here. Might get filled within a month. Maybe. Clean store tho
