Cincinnati Children's Urgent Care - Crestview Hills

I brought my 4-year-old daughter to the Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Urgent Care in Crestview Hills because I believed she was having an allergic reaction. She had hives all over her body, was itchy, and told me it was hard to swallow. Instead of taking my concerns seriously, the doctor repeatedly talked down to me and made me feel dismissed for even bringing her in. He stated he thought it was strep, tested her, and when the test came back negative, he changed his diagnosis to a viral infection. He prescribed Zyrtec and told me she could return to school the next day. When I expressed my concern that her hives were continuing to spread and worsen, he spoke very sternly and informed me they would “get worse and worse and then get better”—with no further explanation or reassurance. Beware! They have started billing hospital facility charges on urgent care visits. I'm still trying to dispute it but they billed my insurance over $2,000 for a simple urgent care visit (70% of which was facility charges!) and somehow their billing department and my insurance are both insisting that this is correct somehow?!? This is clearly not a hospital based urgent care and should not bill as such. And that was after letting me sit in the room for 20-30 minutes because nobody ever came to give us the discharge paperwork.

Clean, welcoming facility and super friendly staff. The doctor took the time to look at additional concerns for my child beyond the one that they were there for. CHECK IN ONLINE BEFOREHAND! When we did, the in-person wait was the shortest we've ever had at an urgent care. Thank you to the medical professionals that work here!! We appreciate you!

I brought my 2 and half year old daughter because of a limp. I registered online before coming. I arrived at 7:15 pm. Originally it said my child would be seen by 7:25. We didn't get to see anyone until 8:30. Then waited on the dr until 9. Then xrays, another 2 hours then they tried to draw blood and it was horrific!!! I don't think any medical professional there had ever drawn blood from a child my daughters age. She had blood drawn before at this facility and the woman was an expert! My daughter didn't even cry! That was during the day not during urgent care hours! I was here from 7:15pm until midnight with No answers! Everyone says children's has the best everything well not at all in my experience! This is the 4th time I've dealt with children's and everytime its 8 hours and misdiagn

The staff was super friendly and accommodating. We were in and out fairly quickly and received the upmost care. Highly recommend and so thankful for the addition of this facility in our area!
