was initially drawn to Dr. Chung because of her stated focus on skin of color. Unfortunately, my experience as a first-time patient was very disappointing. The front desk and support staff were kind and welcoming, and the office itself was clean and easily accessible. However, my appointment with Dr. Chung felt rushed from the moment she entered the room. There was no thorough examination of my skin, scalp, or specific areas of concern. My questions were addressed in very general terms, without any sort of hands-on assessment or individualized evaluation. Much of the guidance felt broad and generalized rather than tailored to my specific concerns. Her recommendations focused mainly on creams, antibiotics, and steroids. I’ve been seeing Dr. Chung for about 13 years and she is always pleasant, on time and extremely Competent. She also has a sub specialty in dermatology for patients with an organ transplant. I highly recommend her.

Dr. Chung is outstanding in every medical and personal variable. Her skill is professional and medically superior. Her patient interaction is caring and competent.

edit: I emailed the “solution team” on 11/19 that they responded to this review about and it’s been about 3 weeks and I’ve gotten no response. what a joke. not sure how they can claim to care about their patients and then act like this. she absolutely destroyed my skin. I came in wanting to get rid of a couple recurring cystic acne spots on my jawline. she prescribed tretinoin despite me telling her i’d tried it before earlier in the year for about 5 months and it didn’t work for me and just broke me out more. she told me to try it again anyway. she said the purge that is typical for tretinoin where you breakout more initially before it calms down would be over in about 2 months. I was on it for 6 months, hoping it would get better any day now, and it ruined my skin. my cheeks and jaw now

I've been a patient of Dr. Chung for several years and one thing is true. She is professional, kind and compassionate. I highly recommend Dr. Chung.
