I had an appointment today and upon arrival the woman at the front desk said that they didn’t have my referral. I called my doctor and she confirmed my referral had been sent and was still valid. I told the lady at the front desk, gave her the authorization number, she interrupted me telling me that was useless bc she couldn’t accept it. I told her I understood but they did in fact have all of the information correct. She kept huffing and puffing at me telling me I was going to have to reschedule. I left the office and my insurance lady called me back saying that the referral was still good in the system. Twice now I have showed up for an appointment and they cancelled with no communication. Apparently I owed $5.00. so this is what it comes to? $5???🤦‍♀️

Scheduled a new patient appt for my son since his pediatrician wanted us to have a mole on his head looked at. The doctor didn’t spend any time with us at all. She walked in and said to come back in a year. I was trying to find a photo I had from what it looked like in January so she could see the difference. She stood there and stared at me while I was trying to find the photo. Then she abruptly asked if there were any other moles for her to look at. Is that what she should have done being he is a new patient? Now I need to schedule another appt with a doctor that cares to evaluate their patients.
