Christie Medical Clinic

I have been a patient here for about 2 years and I have never had a bad experience. The front desk lady Lisa is always nice and the nurses are as well but Dr Christie is one of the most caring and compassionate Dr's that I have ever seen. He spends as much time as you need with him, I never feel rushed and he is a great listener...lol. He would make a good therapist. Great job guys !!!!

Dr. Christie is a terrific doctor! He has been my doctor since 2000--it is the first time in my life that I have had such consistency in my medical care. The blood pressure medications he prescribe have ,kept my blood pressure under control all this time! Every referral that he has made has been to an excellent doctor, and all the specialists as well as the nurses and other doctors at Anne Arundel hospital always speak of Dr. Christie with great respect. Dr. Christie has really helped me as I begin the transition from late middle age into old age. His interest and care are both thoughtful and consistent. I feel very, very lucky to have Dr. Christie as my primary care physician....I would not consider changing doctors so my decisions regarding my supplementary insurance are based on w

Doctor Christie and his staff are first class. I am an anxious doctor goer and they treated me like gold. They were patient and understanding and I would recommend them to anyone. Because of my anxiety at the doctor; the 2 nurses who helped me were angels but I forgot their names because of my anxiety. Thank you Dr Christie and staff!

i Suffer from psychological issues, and being aware that Dr. Christie is not a psychiatrist, I still walked into his office one morning after spending a rough period of time unmedicated, being very tired and hoping for some relief. I did not wish to go back back to the organizations i had gone to before and was just looking to be prescribed a few medications I knew worked very well for me without having to see a therapist and everything else. He was sympathetic to my needs, seemed a very nice man, and I began to be prescribed meds again that helped me tremendously. Then, without warning, on my last visit, he decides he cannot prescribe them to me anymore, writes me out prescriptions for a week and sends me on my way. "Walkins welcome" - so untrue. I spent 3 hours sitting in the waiting room without a word said to me. The worst part was I had no idea I would have to wait that long. Stay away if you need to be seen in any sort of timely manner and don't have an appointment. That said the doctor has great bedside manner and I'd love it if he was my primary care physician. He should just drop the notion of walk ins from his practice.
