ChristianaCare Hospital, West Grove

Staff was very friendly. It was extremely busy but the nursing staff was non stop moving. Dr Kramer was great. The tall guy with the tattoos (I didn’t get his name) was very friendly and talked and explained to us why the delay and offered us drinks. The whole team was great. So glad to have this hospital back.

My medication was sent to the wrong pharmacy, and I only found out after calling myself. When I contacted the ER to request that it be sent to the correct pharmacy, I was told this could not be done and that I would need to see my primary doctor, even though the prescription was written by the ER physician the night before. I was informed there was no way to contact the prescribing doctor or an on-call provider to correct the error. While the medical care I received in the ER was good, I was very disappointed by the lack of assistance and empathy when trying to resolve a medication error. Being left to figure this out on my own after an ER visit was frustrating and stressful.

Truly grateful for the staff at the ER for helping my brother. He has special needs. Visits can be overwhelming and stressful but last night and this morning, Christiana Care truly made Tay and us feel safe. An experience he never gets. He got the proper care and they listened to us being his caregivers. Talked to him every step they took. They took their time and were very patience. The smoothest ER visit ever for him. Can't not thank yall enough and happy that knowing next time we need to make a visit. He will be treated the way he deserves!

First off, Dr Ims ruined my IV. Blood splattered everywhere the bedding, the floor as well as the metal cart. No apologies, just left it there. I had to ring the bell to have it cleaned up. Jack, the nurse who was very friendly just used the dirty sheet to clean the blood that went through the bed. Very unsanitary! Later, I over heard the nurse Jack and Dr Ims referring to getting 6 (mybed) out of here. was left with bruising and absolutely humiliated. I was rushed out where I was later seen at another hospital. DO NOT GO THERE! Please make the extra drive. I'll be making a formal complaint!

Got a piece of metal in my eye and went to the new ER on the morning of 8/30. Got there at about 10:15 am and was registered, treated and discharged before 11am. The place is clean, the staff efficient and professional. I will definitely go back and recommend it to others. So nice to only travel 12 miles to get emergency care. Thank you.
