CHOP Specialty Care, Exton

CHOP is the best hospital and physician network in America (and therefore the whole world) for children. They were checking on our third son's heart, and they were so kind, respectful, helpful, and honest. I wouldn't recommend any other physician or hospital for your children. If you want the best care for kids, you want CHOP.

I had this long review typed out about my experience with chop ENT but honestly it’s not worth my time.. I felt dismissed. I felt like they looked at her and said she’s fine and we went out ways. My daughter who is freshly 7 has been in and out of the Dr for 4 YEARS with the same issues. I’ve seen every specialist and every time I’m told to see ENT. No one would do anything for her. 5 minutes at Nemours children’s hospital (i tried my best to stick with chop because it’s chop they have a great name.. why wouldn’t i🫠) they tell me yep that’s a chop thing. It’s impossible with them. THEY ARENT WRONG. My child is finally scheduled for a total tonsillectomy beginning of Feb because the ENT we saw said they’re huge and she dips her toe into a few buckets that makes her a good candidate. SKIP CH

This place operates like a free clinic and is complete chaos! How is it I didn't see a doctor until almost 2 hours later?! -The check in receptionists were nice but they mixed up my paperwork somehow (made excuses) resulting in me being seen after people who arrived a half hour after me -apparently running late is "normal." -50minute lobby waiting time -once in the back I waited another 50minutes to see the actual doctor -the room wasn't cleaned beforehand. where was the paper for the dirty bed? -why does your chair look like this? absolutely falling apart! -The doctor skimmed my chart carelessly resulting in him saying the wrong information. no way I can't trust them with my care. -during our literal 5-minute session I understood the doctor wasn't good at the possible task at hand (vague

Insane bill! A 10 minute visit and according to the doc's own words, "a very common issue" turned out to be a $500 bill even after insurance in-network discounts! No procedure was done, only some simple advice given. This costs more than anything I've ever seen in a simple visit! Editing to add I reached out to the feedback office at CHOP. They "reviewed" the visit and billing code (New patient visit 30-44 minutes- CPT 99203) and told me everything is billed correctly. LOL Nothing about billing us 30-44 minutes when our visit should have been 99202 which is for shorter visits. Instead they tried to lecture me about my insurance deductibles. "The bill wouldn't be as high if you had a lower deductible". Insurance deductible has nothing to do with how much you are billing at all in the first

Great experience. Dr. Reid is amazing and caught a rather pressing issue with my daughters vision that another doctor did not. Great staff, clean facility, and fast service.
