CHOP at Virtua Voorhees Hospital

Had to take my son to the ER Sat night . The Drs and Nurses gave him the best treatment and their bedside manner was amazing ! Thank you to all, esp Nurse Shirley ! She was amazing with my son .

This chop is great love The staff in nursing doctors are wonderful very friendly. We didn’t have to wait Long.

I had such an amazing experience last night when I had to rush my daughter to the ER, the wait time was very appropriate as well as all the staff members were just so kind and personable. Tamar who was helping us the entire time was just such a pleasure to be around, all the girls in the back were just so sweet and made sure to make me and my family comfortable. Thank you again to all the girls who helped.

I'm a CHOP patient, and my doctor told me to go here as I was having a sore throat and bad cough. When I went in and tried explaining the situation, the receptionist was cold and unhelpful. She said that because I was 20, I had to go to the adult hospital, which I had no problem doing, but it felt as though the receptionist and security guard were more focused on kicking me out rather than helping me. I told them I wasn't going anywhere until my mom arrived. When I did get to the adult hospital, all the staff there were very friendly and made me feel welcome, unlike the pediatric emergency room. If this is how CHOP at Virtua Vorhees treat CHOP patients, then they should be ashamed of themselves to be connected to such a great hospital who treats all their patients with the care and empathy

I was hesitating to bring my son here because of the 3.9 rating but boy is that wrong. We got transferred over from Virtua ER in Marlton and while they were also nice I would have came to CHOP from the start with had I known the experience we had. First of all it’s a pediatric specialty so we were able to be admitted. From the minute we walked in our nurse was ready to escort us to our room. She walked us in and made it super easy. While I was talking to the doctor she went ahead and made me a bed to lay on in the rooms sofa with a bunch of pillows and blankets. This was a first for me after being at various hospitals with family members. All of the nurses were super attentive and answered all my questions. My son was not doing well at all and with their care and treatment he made a speedy
