I have a son that is non verbal and he has autism. The lady that he was working with at first was awesome she was amazing, and he was only working with her for a trial period for his device to assist with his communication. Once he was working with her he started trying to talk more. Okay he started working with the speech therapist on the second visit she informed me that my son would have a hard time speaking and that I should just wait for his device,. My son has only worked with this individual two times who is she to tell me my son would never be able to speak.. She is not God, She was very unprofessional complain about the issue but it really showed me who really matters. Very unprofessional and uncaring I guess it's all in who you are.

I will say I loved the PT we saw but the scheduling and billing department are very shady. I have been fighting with them since August. My son sees lots of specialist and had to see one of the other ones at the time he normally went to PT they said the canceled it out . Fast forward to September/Oct they start billing me. I have been dealing with the run around since. They give me different numbers and names to talk to every time and no one calls me back. Now they are sending it to collections yet they still haven't had the right person talk to me. I have even gone in person and they just send me away with a new number or name to talk to. I'm also very disappointed that a year and half after intake appointments we are still waiting on service to start for one of my kiddos. We'd go els

I took my son for an audiology appointment and the audiologist was so insensitive. She asked, so I told her my child was having speech issues and this woman had the nerve the say "oh you sure do have a lot to say (my 2 year old was babbling), I wish I knew what you were saying." Her tone was very RUDE and CONDESCENDING. You don't talk to people's kids like that about their disabilities. Get better staff CHKD.

We will never have phlebotomy service there again. Went for the first time this morning and it was horrible. I hesitated to write this review but I knew I couldn’t let this happen to another little one. The phlebotomist was rough, then was so busy disconnecting the vial, I think she forgot to remove the needle. Needless to say it came out, blood was on baby’s clothes and my jeans. He saw her coming with the wrap and screamed even more. I had tears in my eyes as did my son. Never again. I plan to let pediatrician across the street know….we will not use that phlebotomy service/phlebotomist ever again. There was just no compassion. Being in healthcare for over 10 years, I was very disappointed and ultimately disgusted.

These Pediatric Specialists should be also located in the city of Hampton. I spend more time and gas traveling to NN for my children’s appointments. Step it up CHKD the demand is growing in Hampton. Please look into locations for all if not most services for the kids in Hampton.
