Chitkara Vijay MD , Nova Pediatrics

I enjoy taking my kids to this doctor. It's further from my house, but worth the extra miles. The staff and doctor are knowledgeable and very friendly, as well. Would highly recommend to my friends, family and cousins also!

Dr. Chitkara’s office is one of the few things good about springfield. Me and my brother go in for annual physicals and Dr. Chitkara is thorough in is work and gets you in and out. Recommended for physicals.

My children have been patients of Dr. Chitkara’s for over fourteen years. He is very thorough and cares about his patients. He answers all questions in a way that can be easily understood. I chose Dr. Chitkara as our family pediatrician from a personal recommendation, and am so thankful we did.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would! The staff is extremely rude they get attitudes every time you ask a question. Dr Chitkara doesn't have a clue what he's doing I took my son in there for his vaccinations when he was born and he was so rough with my son that my son had bruises on his cheeks as well as on his legs from Dr. Chitkara holding him down so hard and using so much force and pressure that he bruised him. Handprint bruises on my poor baby's legs and face from him administering a liquid medication for vaccine and injecting other vaccines into his legs. My son is literally traumatized from the doctor's office and has been since that point as soon as we walk into a doctor's office he starts screaming! This has been something I have to deal with every time I take him to the doc

We had our first appointment with Dr. Chitkara today. So far so good! Everyone in the office was friendly and laid back. Seriously a genuinely kind staff. I observed them talking with other patients and I just think they’re great. It was refreshing. Dr. Chitkara was very respectful. We drove 40 minutes to see Dr. Chitkara because he came so highly recommended by friends and I’m glad we did.
